At this "good bargain for Vegas" that "caters to seniors", there's a "free shuttle service to the Strip" ("a quick drive" away), "ample parking", an "enormous bowling alley" and a casino that's "a little too smoky" but offers "plenty of lower stake table games"; the "spacious" but "extremely basic" rooms have "big flat-screen" TVs, but the bath fixtures tend to be "old", and views may be of a wall.

Bowling alley.
No bed spreads, it looked undone.

Rooms were clean/tidy/ and was spacious.
Staff needs to be made aware of
customer service.

Nice hotel, good location for rate, rooms clean and spacious. The problem we encountered was the staff was very rude. The front desk staff member did not welcome us, did not make any eye contact, did not have anything nice to say at all. The key to one of the rooms did not work so had to go back and reprogram. There were 15-20 guests awaiting to be served. The bell asked me to stand in the empty line to get attention immediately. Upon working up to the desk and request re-keying, was told to go back to the rest of the line-up behind the 15 guests already awaiting. In the mean time another guest was shouting at the staff member of the poor service! ...read more

Nice, clean and exceeded my expectations.

Nice hotel with updated rooms. I felt that it was definitely worth the bang for the buck. A little off the strip, but still close enough.

The room was much nicer than expected, I was upgraded so I could have a quite non smoking room.
Too much tobacco smoke in public areas.

I stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was quite nice, but lacked an in room safe for my lap top. I have worked in the hospitality industry so I look for more than most when staying at a hotel. ...read more

Fitness center had ample equipment and open until 10:00 pm. TGI Friday's in lobby was open until 3:00 am every night and saved my night 4 out of 5 nights.

It was close to our meeting facility at the Palms.
The room was directly above the loading dock.

Probably won't go back, second floor room above the loading dock, beer trucks beeping at 6 AM.

Convenience to freeway and where I had business.
Chain on toilet handle broke

It was a decent, clean place to sleep.

Lots of slot machines.
Dirty, smoky, loud, old, run-down, and no internet.

Hotel stinks, literally. Tiny, frigid pool, Expensive and crappy buffet (kids pay full price!). Worn-out mattresses, dirty floors, ciggy burns all over furniture, tub, fixtures, sink, carpets, etc. Air conditioner only recirculates stinky air, window doesn't open. If chain smoking while pumping nickles into slot machines is your thing, this is for you. ...read more

Not far from the strip.
Have to walk through casino to get to room, a long walk.

A great
basic room in Vegas.
